On July 1st, 2020, the office of the German Committee for Disaster Risk Reduction e. V. took over the secretariat of the network.

With this, the DKKV coordinates and organizes network meetings, informs about current developments and events via the website and the Twitter presence of the network and ensures contact with the members. In addition, the Secretariat drafts and publishes the network's quarterly newsletter.
